Sound Therapy

also known as Sound Healing.

The therapeutic use of sound and music for healing. It offers the possibility of a drug-free way of treating paina dn illness, while being simple to use with no known side effects. During a treatment, a person will lie on a couch with the practitioner toning, singing or using a musical insturment over the client's body. Musical instruments used are gongs, crystal bowls, tuning forks, Tibertan bowls. There will also be periods of silence as the body adjusts to what it has heard.

A session will normally last for an hour and most people feel deeply relaxed after a treatment.
