The Welwyn Hatfield Complementary Practitioner’s Group is a group of fully trained and insured complementary therapists working in and around the Welwyn Hatfield area and beyond.
The Group was set up to provide a forum to encourage the spread of ideas within the local therapist community, and also to promote complementary therapies in the area. We, and many people throughout the community ,are indebted to Mary Barton (Medical Herbalist of Ayot St. Peter) for founding the Group in November 2001, and for her tireless work as Chair of the Group since its inception, before she stood down in 2005.
We have talks and demonstrations given by members and external speakers on a wide range of topics related to health and wellbeing - and there is always ample opportunity to network and catch up with each other over a cup of tea.
Visitors are always most welcome at our meetings - admission is FREE - and you do not need to be a complementary therapist to attend. If you are in the process of training to become a therapist or are thinking of doing so, you will find it particularly beneficial to come along and meet us, particularly as a number of our members also teach their therapies.
You can find our Code of Ethics on the site. You will see that we regard
the care and safety of our clients as a top priority.
If you would like to know more about the Group or have any comments on
any of the therapies you have tried then please contact one of the
