Biodanza literally means ‘Dance of Life’ and through a series of simple exercises, it progressively increases our connection with our body: a real benefit in today’s head driven society.
The music is carefully chosen for its beneficial impact on the individual and ranges from vibrant South American rhythms to popular melodic and classical pieces. We allow the music to dance us, resonating within us and producing feelings of joy, elation and affection, as we dance together.
Attendance at a weekly class begins a process of gradual opening of the body and a release of physical and emotional tensions with no need for analysis.
No dance experience is required, and you don’t need to have anything wrong with you to do Biodanza, it’s a brilliant way to let go and have fun!
